This is just another show of how irresponsible our commissioners are. commissioner Budera had several meetings with citizens and the 'Blue ribbion' committee. These meetings did not cost the county any money, yet it sent a clear message with more input from citizens than this grroup.
We wasted $130K for this?

I am interested in a recall of Charles Bannister as Board Chairman.Let me know if anyone is willing to help.He has exemplified the role of a career politician bent on control and power and making connections to further his on good at the expense of Gwinnetts citizens.I challenged him at the recent BOC vote in regards to the millage rate issue now in the courts.Afterwards,he told me I was behind on the issue at this particular vote.He tried to talk down to me about my ideas to help the county. This was the 1st chance I had to address the board during their working hours. He told me to schedule an appoitment with him to discuss my ideas, but said he felt most of them would be futile because of a comment I made about the transit system. His response in parting was you sound like Beaudreau.Well,Mike does represent my district and yes we do think a like with some of the same ideas to move us forward while saving the taxpayers money. It's time for someone who is not a politician to lead the county forward.I'm tired of Webbs,Hills, and Bannisters only wanting to profit at the expense of the citizens.Beaudreau might be the only one on the commission that wants to better us.I've heard don't trust him,he wants Linders seat.Well at least Beaudreau listens to us.Time to banish Bannister.

Only a government monopoly could get away with such an unfair fee (tax) being applied to our services. This is not designed to save water. It is designed to raise money to spend on projects. Do not be fooled, it’s a new tax being applied to give someone power.
Also, those who cut back on their water usage during the drought are being double penalized for their usage now. Our winter usage was down and now the penalty is high.
If the county is really concerned about saving water, then stop to core from dumping the water downstream to fill up the gulf.

Has anyone been contacted via email or by phone for the survey RW Beck supposedly is doing for the Trash proposal (remember $130,000) wasted when we the people have already proved that the current one meets Georgia regulations. More importantly, that we want to stay with the current system.

I don't want this survey to be like the GC&B one - stacked with Bannister & Gang supporters.

We can't give up and let them sneak this through.

Mr. Bannister's letter is insulting to say the least.

PLEASE, Gwinnett residents, do not fall for the scare tactics. The commissioners are only cutting budget items that will impact residents the most -police, fire, parks, libraries, etc. Why? Because they want to punish the residents for voting down the tax increase. They also hope to scare residents into rethinking a tax increase--an increase that would not be needed were it not for a stadium, illegal land deals and trash-battle legal fees.

I'm sure there are many items in the budget that could be cut that residents would not even notice. But that would not fit Mr. Bannister's agenda.

We've come to the standoff and I refuse to blink first!

I have attached a flyer with all the details. This event is being hosted by our Alpharetta and Flowery Branch 912 groups. We hope to see you there!

Wow first off I am pretty sure if we quit paying for the FIRE and Police cars taken far away by workers living many counties away first we could free up those cars, second if those people choose not to work in the area they live why should the people here pay the gas and auto bills,

Second quit letting Goverment uniforms and cars be used for private citizens with the funds not going to the Goverment but to individaul officers using Goverment uniform and car,

other States dont let private companies use uniformed officers and cars for private pay why should we.
