This is not designed to save water. It is designed to raise money to spend on projects. Do not be fooled, it’s a new tax being applied to give someone power. Also, those who cut back on their water usage during the drought are being double penalized for their usage now. Our winter usage was down and now the penalty is high. If the county is really concerned about saving water, then stop to core from dumping the water downstream to fill up the gulf.
