New Website “www.supporttheplan.net”
So there is a new website that has been setup by a marketing firm from Jacksonville, Florida the home of Advance Waste. I urge everyone to go and look at the site and see why they feel the “Plan” is great for us. One of the selling points is that it will be “fair” since everyone pays the same price, now if that is not socialism I do not know what is.
They have an email address of supporttheplan@gmail.com, I urge everyone to take time and read the pros and cons and send them emails asking for explanations. Please copy the BOC with your email and their responses if you get one.
I find it interesting that Wastepro was the second highest bidder on the plan but they have not offered to charge the same thing that Advance bid at, would this not be the “fair” thing for them to do so that you would be paying each the same thing.
I have not heard how the TRO hearing went today yet.

Read this web site with interest. It appears to be the same thing that GCB used in the begining.They may be trying to get back some of the momey that was lost when the contract was canceled. Both companies have joined forces to try to appeal to the citizens of the county. The citizens have already spoken, loud and clear.
Also do not think we have heard the last of GCB. There may be an attempt to have them working for the county and then the ‘Plan’ can be pushed through. Keep your eyes open.
